Course Description: Our main objective in this course is to introduce you to the challenge of multi-pitch ice climbing. We introduce specific rope-handling and belaying techniques, the skills associated with building ice screw belays and a variety of techniques for moving on ice gullies, frozen walls and waterfalls.
In addition to teaching you the skills needed for longer ice climbs, we look forward to sharing the singular experience of being perched on frozen water, far above the ground.
This two-day course was designed to follow Water Ice: An Introduction To The Frozen World.
