Course Summary: This course provides comprehensive instruction in the techniques and skills required to climb ice far off the ground, in a multi-pitch setting. By combining Frozen Walls & Waterfalls with More Frozen Walls, this 5-day course allows you to acquire all of our Level II ice climbing skills at once.

Course Description:
By combining our two weekend, Level II courses with an additional day of climbing, this course provides a comprehensive introduction to multi-pitch ice climbing. Emphasis will be placed on honing ice climbing skills and techniques on classic Adirondack ice climbs.

We’ve designed the course to follow Water Ice: An Introduction To The Frozen World and for those wishing an intensive, seven-day introduction to the sport, these two courses can be scheduled consecutively.
