Clinging to warm rock, far above the ground, can be a powerful and compelling experience. So much air beneath your feet…… yet a rope keeps you safe, even if you fall.
Learning to trust the rope, and your partner, is one of the first steps to becoming a rock climber and it requires a clear understanding of safety techniques and their underlying principles.

Our skills-oriented progression of rock climbing courses, the Rock Mastery Method, covers just about any aspect of the sport you could envision and, it was designed to cover maximum ground in a minimum amount of time. The extensive array of twenty-three courses was carefully planned to meet the needs of climbers ranging in ability from beginner through advanced.
Once you have mastered the basics, Rock Guiding allows you to explore our huge selection of climbs, for all ability levels. We regularly guide on about thirty major, roadside cliffs in the Adirondacks. In addition, we guide on more than twice that number of minor and remote cliffs.
We also arrange private trips, for qualified climbers, to many of the world’s great rock climbing destinations.
