Making Reservations

Program Choice & Scheduling Consultation
We encourage you to visit the Our Services section of this site and select programs that are of interest. Once you have done this, you will need to contact us and, with your input, we will make sure you’ve chosen the program(s) most appropriate for your goals and experience. We will also discuss scheduling options, our availability, and answer any other questions you might have. We believe this initial consultation is essential to providing consistently high-quality experiences tailored to the needs of our clients. Before you invest in a program, we also want you to be confident our personalities and communication styles are comfortable for you. There is no obligation of any kind for this consultation.

After selecting an appropriate program, that fits your schedule and ours, you may need time to confirm arrangements. We will be happy to hold a tentative reservation for two days while you make these arrangements.

When To Reserve
Advance reservations are required for all programs and all bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are constrained to specific dates, we suggest you reserve as early as you can to avoid disappointment. Occasionally we become fully booked for several months, but we can usually accommodate reservations made at least one month in advance. If your schedule is flexible, we may be able to accommodate reservations on shorter notice – it’s always worth checking. We will always try to fit you in if possible, but we do not, ever, hire part-time guides or instructors to meet excess demand.

Deposits & Balances
For all programs, a deposit of 1/3 the cost of that program is required to confirm your reservation. The balance of the cost for a program is due 30 days prior to the start of that program. If we do not receive the balance due on time, we reserve the right to treat your reservation as if you cancelled. Please review Our Policies before submitting your deposit.

Forms Of Payment
We accept major credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express), checks, money orders and cash. Please contact us to arrange for payment. We do not accept any form of payment via this website.

Gift Certificates
Our programs make great gifts! We can provide gift certificates for specific programs or for a dollar amount to be applied toward a program of the recipient’s choice. Please contact us for more information about the options available.

Your Personal Information
Before we can process your confirmation we will need to know how to contact you and other important information. You can quickly provide this information via the Personal Information Form on this website, or we will be happy to take it over the telephone (518) 576-9881.

Confirmation
Upon receipt of your deposit and personal information, we will confirm your reservation via email or US mail. This confirmation will verify the details of your program, including any payments you have made and/or will need to make, prior to your program. It will also include information pertaining to preparing for your program.
