Course Description:
Exposure is a difficult thing to describe but one thing is for sure: it is directly proportional to the amount of space between your feet and the ground.

This course will introduce you to the basics of multi-pitch climbing as well as the paradoxical delights of being in exposed places. You can expect to learn about route-finding, protection removal, anchoring, rope-handling at belays, and other topics that will be presented while you are climbing.

We’ll also teach you how to self-belay a rappel and our simplified two-prusik method for emergency fixed-rope ascent. After two days of multi-pitch climbing you'll be much more comfortable in the vertical world and ready to explore longer and harder routes.

We provide all technical equipment, including climbing shoes, for your use during this course.

This course was designed to follow our Introduction To The Vertical World.
